Art Major Frozen Semen
- Use of the Art Major semen (up to 24 straws) does not entitle the purchaser’s resulting foal conceived from the semen to a Sires Stakes program which requires that the stallion reside within a given state’s borders. (The stallion owner may make the foal MASS or KY eligible by meeting those states residency requirements as currently published by those programs.)
- Use of frozen semen requires special handling and mare management. Interested parties are advised to contact Blue Chip to go over those requirements prior to submitting a bid/offer to the CHHA.
- Purchaser will be allotted the frozen semen on a per dose basis for insemination of the specific mare approved for the 2020 breeding season only. The purchaser shall be responsible for the shipment and storage of the frozen semen if he/she does not wish to send their mare to Blue Chip for insemination.
