The Farringtons attribute Rambling Willie’s stellar career to help from on high.
Vivian Farrington faithfully sent 10% of Willie’s earnings to the church her father pastored. At first the congregation did not want money from the racetrack. Over time they came to realize God was blessing Willie and their church thanks to Vivian’s steadfast insistence that 10% of Willie’s earning belong to God.
Willie had many close calls with career ending injuries and sickness. Each time Vivian, Willie’s groom and Vivian's dad prayed and God answered. You can’t out give God!
